End of Free BOM…for now!

Standard

Hello…we have had some fun on our travel journey! We have posted 12 blocks for now, and have many other ideas and destinations we want to stitch…however, Bonnie has a new job that she is traveling a lot for and Madison is busy getting a degree in Microbiology.

We have had so many people asking us about putting the blocks together or if there are more. Thanks so much for your support and kind words.

So for now, we have suspended our free BOM adventure until further notice! We have not put these blocks together yet, as we still have lots of places to go!

Thanks for coming along with us!

Happy Stitching,

Madison & Bonnie                                                                                                                                                                                         Pretty P & Mama B Designs

  1. Dear Madison and Bonnie,

Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful patterns of your trip around the world. I thoroughly enjoyed the trip and, like a true vacation, it sometimes has to end before you wish. I look forward to seeing the rest of your journey once you have rested. For now, you have given much to work with and it will make a delightful quilt with the 12 blocks that have been provided. I am in the process of designing filler blocks to make the quilt a little larger and will help tie each block together.

Hope you get lots of rest and that your creative energies are soon restored. I know how draining it can be to be creative and share the fruits of your labors. Just wanted to let you know how much I appreciate what you have done and I’m sure that others share my thoughts on that. Please don’t let others bring you down by telling you they are disappointed in not providing more blocks, I have seen this happen on other websites and what followed was not pretty. Those websites folded because of all the negativity that a “few” put forth and the way they tried to tell others how to run their blogs, websites and FREE patterns, blocks of the month and the like. What you have provided was for “free” and while a commitment may have been implied, it is NOT like it would have been had the patterns been paid for. If that had been the case, I know that refunds would have been forthcoming.

Thank you again for the wonderful patterns. God bless and I look forward to seeing more of your delightful view of the world through an artists eye.
